Begin with capacity rather than performance
Choose a duration and pace that leave room for return. A short indoor walk, a seated stepping practice, or movement near a trusted companion can be a complete session when that is what the body supports.
Some days may invite more movement and others may call for rest. Adaptation is part of the practice.
Use the senses as gentle anchors
Notice three points of contact: the feet or chair, the movement of breath, and one sound in the environment. When attention travels, return without criticism.
Slow gradually, notice how the body feels, and record any symptom or question that deserves clinical discussion. Stop and seek appropriate help for concerning symptoms.
